April 21 to 28

All calls were responded to within the County of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

April 21 — Eastside Road — A physical confrontation occurred at a work camp between two unknown individuals.

April 23 — Hood View Court — Deputy responded to a domestic disturbance. Probable cause for a crime was not developed.

April 23 — Indian Creek, 1200 block — Deputy began an investigation regarding a student at a high school.

April 24 — Carter Road — Deputy responded to a domestic assault.

April 28 — Willow Flat — Resident arrested for felony domestic assault IV.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

None reported

Disorderly conduct, mischief, trespass and vandalism:

None reported

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

April 25 — I-84 at milepost 64 — Male arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, drugs, and released to family.

April 27 — N.E. Forest Lane, 800 block, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving. The vehicle was towed.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

None reported

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

April 23 — Brookside Drive, 3600 block — Deputy took report of a cold hit and run incident in which a vehicle was damaged in a parking lot.

April 28 — I-84 at milepost 62 — Driver cited for driving while suspended, violation, and the vehicle towed.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

April 23 — State Street, 300 block — Male arrested on a probation violation detainer and lodged at NORCOR.

April 25 — N.E. Forest Lane at N.E. Gravel Pit Road, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for a warrant issued out of Multnomah County.

April 28 — Wy’east Road at Odell Highway — Female arrested for a probation violation and transported to the hospital for medical treatment. After receiving medical clearance, she was arrested and transported to NORCOR.

Theft or burglary:

April 22 — Clear Creek Road, 7300 block — Deputy took report of theft I.

April 26 — Lingren Road, 3000 block — A lawnmower was reported stolen.

April 28 — Eastside Road, 2300 block — Deputy took report of a burglary and theft.

Sex offenses:

None reported

Other:

April 22 — Wy’east Road, 3000 block — Deputy recovered a chainsaw that had been found near the north end of Gihouley Drive.

April 27 — Morton Road, 400 block — Deputy took report from a victim of a dog bite. The dog was quarantined at the animal shelter.

April 27 — Starvation Creek State Park — Deputy responded to search for a subject who had gotten turned around on the Mt. Defiance trail.
