All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

Aug. 3 — Second Street — Assault IV reported.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

July 31 — I-84 at milepost 62 — A Portland, Ore., resident was arrested on the charge of unlawful possession of three ounces of marijuana and lodged at NORCOR.

Aug. 3 — Jaymar Park — A Hood River resident was cited and released for unlawful possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Aug. 4 — I-84 at milepost 62 — A driver and passenger were each cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

July 29 — Nix Road, 1200 block — A female reported damage to her vehicle.

July 30 — 12th Street, 1600 block — A Hood River male was arrested for trespassing.

July 30 — Dana Lane, 3100 block — A Hood River resident reported her living room window had been broken.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

Aug. 3 — Sherman Avenue, 1300 block — A Beaverton resident was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after striking a telephone post with his vehicle. BAC registered .17 percent.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

July 26 — Second Street, 200 block — Identity theft reported.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds

Aug. 8 — 12th Street, 1800 block — Officer responded to a non-injury traffic crash. The driver was cited for failure of driver entering roadway to yield right of way.

Aug. 3 — 13th Street at Taylor Avenue — Officer responded to a two vehicle accident with no injuries. One driver was cited for following too closesly.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

July 29 — Belmont Avenue, 1500 block — Officer contacted a male and female who were sleeping on the ground of a sports complex. The male had a no contact order with the female.

July 30 — Oak Street, 1600 block — A juvenile female was arrested on a warrant out of Hood River County.

July 31 — I-84 at milepost 63 — A Portland, Ore., male was arrested on a valid warrant out of The Dalles, unlawful possession of marijuana and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor. He was lodged at NORCOR. A female was charged with unlawful possession of hydrocodone and released.

Aug. 1 — Belmont Avenue, 1300 block — Male arrested for a probation violation.

Aug. 1 — Oak Street, 1600 block — Juvenile male arrested for a probation violation and lodged at NORCOR Juvenile.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

July 30 — 12th Street, 800 block — A resident of The Dalles was arrested on theft I charges and 32 separate counts of tampering with drug records and lodged at NORCOR.

Jul 31 — Wasco Street, 2700 block — A Hood River male reported the loss/theft of a jacket containing a cell phone.

Aug. 3 — 22nd Street and Sherman Avenue — Robbery reported.


Aug. 2 — Belmont Avenue, 1300 block — Officer assisted in an over-service case at a local bar.

Aug. 3 — Cascade Avenue, 2600 block — Officer received report of a lost or stolen bag containing papers, cash and passports.

Aug. 4 — Second Street, 100 block — Officer recovered drugs at a local bar after an employee had found a small bag with a powdery substance inside. The powder later tested positive for cocaine.
