Police Log for Dec. 14

All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River Dec 2-8.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

Dec. 3 — Ninth Court — Officer took report of a possible assault that occurred on Nov. 30.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

Dec. 3 — Eugene Street, 2800 block — A Carson, Wash., resident was cited and released for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

None reported

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

Dec. 7 — 13th Street at A Street — An Arizona male was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants, and on a driving under the influence of intoxicants warrant from Umatilla. He was lodged at NORCOR. The vehicle was towed.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

Dec. 3 — May Street, 300 block — Female reported an attempted credit card fraud.

Dec. 4 — May Street, 2900 block — Male reported fraudulent use of his credit card and identity.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Dec. 3 — May Street at 11th Street — Officer took report of a non-injury motor vehicle accident.

Dec. 6 — I-84 at milepost 62 — Officer responded to a motor vehicle crash.

Dec. 6 — Cascade Avenue, 2100 block — Officer responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident. The reporting party stated the crash was caused by two juveniles throwing snowballs at the vehicle. It was determined the juveniles did not directly cause the crash; they said they were having a snowball fight and did not see the car coming.

Dec. 7 — Second Street at State Street — Vehicle stopped for expired tags. Driver was violation suspended and driving uninsured and the vehicle was towed.

Dec. 7 — Wasco Street, 2700 block — Male reported vehicle damage at a local parking lot.

Dec. 8 — Fourth Street at State Street — Officer responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a vehicle sliding into a parked car.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

None reported

Theft, burglary or robbery:

Dec. 4 — Marian Street, 800 block — A statue was reported stolen from the property of a Hood River resident.

Sex offenses:

None reported


Dec. 2 — Hood River City officers assisted Hood River County Sheriff’s Office and Oregon State Police in a stolen vehicle pursuit on I-84 eastbound.
