Sheriff Log for Dec. 18

All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River Dec. 10-15.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

Dec. 15 — Female arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of Oxycodone. She was also cited for unlawful possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. She was lodged at NORCOR.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

Dec. 10 — S.W. WaNaPa Street, Cascade Locks — Vandalism reported to several buildings.

Dec. 10 — 12th Street, 1700 block — Male arrested for disorderly conduct II, theft II, harassment and unlawful possession of less than one ounce of marijuana following incidents that occurred in a Hood River shopping center.

Dec. 11 — S.W. WaNaPa Street, 0-100 block, Cascade Locks — For the third day in a row, deputies took a report of vandalism to buildings in the Cascade Locks area.

Dec. 14 — S.W. WaNaPa Street, 200 block, Cascade Locks — Deputies located two juveniles involved in tagging property. The investigation ended with both juveniles charged with criminal mischief, unlawfully applying graffiti and unlawfully possessing graffiti implements.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

Dec. 12 — Martin Road, 1300 block — Attempted identity theft reported.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Dec. 12 — I-84 at milepost 56 — Non-injury motor vehicle accident reported. The vehicle was towed to a residence in The Dalles at the owner’s request.

Dec. 15 — N.E. Forest Lane at N.E. Clark Street, Cascade Locks — A vehicle was towed.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

Dec. 10 — State Street, 300 block — Deputy took report of a no-contact order violation.

Dec. 13 — S.W. WaNaPa Street, 600 block, Cascade Locks — Female arrested for a misdemeanor warrant out of Hood River Circuit Court for failure to appear and lodged at NORCOR.

Dec. 15 — I-84 at milepost 59 — Male arrested on a felony warrant issued out of Wasco County Circuit Court. He was lodged at NORCOR.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

Dec. 14 — Highway 35, 14000 block — Deputy took report of a theft of a smartphone. The phone was recovered the next day.

Dec. 14 — S.E. Mt. View Drive, 900 block, Cascade Locks — Deputy took report of a theft from a residence.

Sex offenses:

Dec. 10 — Hood River County — Sex abuse I reported.


Dec. 11 — 13th Street, 200 block — Deputy responded to an apartment building where dispatch had advised a naked male was pounding on a door to one of the apartments.

Dec. 14 — Highway 35, 14000 block — Male arrested for disorderly conduct II, criminal trespass II and resisting arrest, and lodged at NORCOR.

Dec. 14 — Bridge of the Gods, Cascade Locks — Deputies placed a police officer hold on a male after he threatened to commit suicide.
