Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:
Jan. 8 — Second Street, 200 block — A resident from The Dalles was arrested for assault on a public safety officer and disorderly conduct II and lodged at NORCOR.
Jan. 9 — A Street — A female was arrested for assault and criminal trespass, and lodged at NORCOR.
Jan. 13 — Oak Street at Third Street — A Hood River resident was arrested for assault IV and disorderly conduct.
Jan. 23 — Cascade Avenue — Officer made contact with a resident regarding harassment.
Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):
Jan. 13 — W. Cascade Avenue, 2600 block — A Hood River resident was cited for unlawful possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
Jan. 13 — I-84 at milepost 63 — A resident from The Dalles was arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and lodged at NORCOR.
Jan. 17 — W. Cascade, 3400 block — Male cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
Jan. 19 — I-84 at exit 64 — Driver cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
Jan. 19 — Button Bridge Road — Hood River resident was arrested for unlawful possession and distribution of methamphetamine and lodged at NORCOR.
Jan. 21 — E. Marina Drive, 900 block — A Portland resident was arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and cited for unsignaled turn, driving while suspended and driving uninsured, and lodged at NORCOR.
Jan. 26 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — A Hood River resident was cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
Jan. 26 — Columbia Street at Fourth Street — A Portland resident was cited for possession of lass than one ounce of marijuana.
Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:
Jan. 21 — Ninth Court, 1600 block — Male arrested for trespass II and disorderly conduct II. He had already been advised of the consequences of returning to the property.
Jan. 21 — Cascade Avenue, 200 block — Officer took report of criminal mischief. It appeared someone had thrown a rock through the back window of a business.
Jan. 25 — 27th Street, 1000 block — Male reported three vehicles being vandalized, the first taking place about two months ago and the most recent on Jan. 24.
Driving under the influence of intoxicants:
Jan. 10 — E. Marina Way, 900 block — A Hood River resident was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Jan. 14 — West Cascade at 18th Street — Male was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants and later released to his wife.
Jan. 16 — A White Salmon resident was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants, controlled substance, and three counts of reckless endangering.
Jan. 19 — 13th Street at A Street — Hood River resident arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants, alcohol.
Jan. 19 — Cascade Avenue, 3400 block — Mosier female arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants and cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and a driving while suspended violation.
Jan. 19 — Rand Road at Eugene — Male arrested for DUII and lodged at NORCOR.
Jan. 21 — May Street, 2400 block — A Hood River resident was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants, controlled substance and cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
Jan. 26 — 12th Street at Brookside Drive — Male cited and released for driving under the influence of intoxicants. The vehicle was released to its registered owner.
Jan. 27 — A Goldendale resident was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants, alcohol, and lodged at NORCOR.
Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:
Jan. 7 — Oak Street, 400 block — Officer took report of someone writing checks on a closed account totaling $384.
Jan. 20 — Montello Avenue, 1000 block — An Ohio male reported identity theft.
Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:
Jan. 9 — 13th Street at State Street — Officer responded to a non-injury, two-vehicle crash.
Jan. 10 — Avalon Drive at Belmont Avenue — An Odell resident reported his car was the victim of a hit-and-run while parked near a business.
Jan. 11 — Second Street, 100 block — Officer responded to a report of an unknown male asleep in the reporting party’s vehicle; he was charged with unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and was cited and released.
Jan. 12 — 13th Street at C Street — Officer investigated a traffic accident. No injuries were reported.
Jan. 13 — Third Street at Oak Street — Officer took report of a hit-and-run incident that had occurred a week prior; the victim called to report the incident when it happened, but was unable to speak to police.
Jan. 15 — Eugene Street, 1000 block — Officer took report of a hit-and-run that occurred Dec. 15, 2012.
Jan. 17 — Fourth Street at Oak Street — Officer responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle crash. One driver was issued a citation for failure to obey traffic control device.
Jan. 24 — I-84 at milepost 63 — Officer dispatched to a possible motor vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer.
Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:
Jan. 12 — Second Street, 100 block — A Hood River resident was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant.
Jan. 20 — Cascade Avenue, 2600 block — A White Salmon resident was arrested for three outstanding warrants from neighboring counties.
Theft, burglary or robbery:
Jan. 1 — Male reported his vehicle had been broken into; he had originally reported the incident to the Hood River County Sheriff’s Office.
Jan. 10 — Oak Street, 100 block — A Hood River resident was cited and released for theft III from a local clothing store.
Jan. 17 — Cascade Avenue, 1900 block — Male reported his wallet as lost or stolen while at a restaurant.
Jan. 24 — N. Wasco Court, 200 block — Officer took report of the theft of gas.
Jan. 25 — E. Sherman Street, 200 block — A Hood River resident reported two snowmobiles and a trailer were stolen during the day.
Sex offenses:
Jan. 7 — Railroad Street — Officer took report of a rape of female juvenile which occurred about two years ago. The information had been disclosed during an interview.
Jan. 18 — 15th Street — Male arrested for several sex crimes and lodged at NORCOR.
Other:
Jan. 1 — Ninth Street, 1600 block — A community mental health program director issued an emergency detention order for a Heights subject.
Jan. 1 — Belmont Drive, 1700 block — A written city ordinance violation warning was issued under Ordinance 13.48.080.
Jan. 13 — Eighth Street, 1800 block — Officer took report of a runaway female juvenile and was later informed she had returned.
Jan. 13 — B Street, 1300 block — Officer took report of a dog that was shot sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Jan. 16 — W. Cascade Avenue, 2100 block — A wallet was found at a local business and given to the police department as found property.
Jan. 19 — 12th Street at Tucker Road — A taxi business owner/operator was cited for operating a taxi service within the City of Hood River without a taxi license.
Jan. 19 — Oak Street at State Street —Male reported losing a wallet.
Jan. 20 — Brookside Drive, 1500 block — Officer dispatched to an unattended death.
Jan. 25 — 12th Street, 1800 block — Officer assisted an Oregon State Trooper with a traffic stop and was required to subdue a subject, resulting in a use-of-force event.
