HRV snowboard team brings home state bacon

Hood River Valley Snowboard Team’s Autumn Inouye claimed an individual state halfpipe title last week in the Oregon Interscholastic Snowboard Association state championships in Bend. Along with the individual title, the girls team brought home a first-place trophy for the halfpipe event thanks to a second-place performance by Maddie Collins and a 15th-place result for Katie Middle.

HRVST boys had a solid showing as well, highlighted by a second-place overall finish in slopestyle and halfpipe events. Connor Goodwillie was the top finisher for the HRV boys at third-place in the halfpipe contest, eighth in slopestyle and 18th in banked slalom.
