Soil & Water native plant sale, April 5-6

Still looking for the perfect low-maintenance plants for your spring planting? You’re in luck!

The Hood River Soil & Water Conservation District is no longer taking orders, but still has many native seedlings (bareroot conifers, deciduous trees and shrubs) available for only $1.25-2.50.

The plants will be sold Friday, April 5, from 1-5 p.m., and Saturday, April 6, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the OSU Experiment Station cold storage building, 3005 Experiment Station Drive (off of Tucker Road just east of Your Rental Center) in Hood River. The public is invited to stop by to check out this first-come, first-served sale.

Check out the Hood River SWCD’s website at www.hoodriverswcd.org to find out what is available and for more information on plant descriptions, suitability for various sites and wildlife usage.
