Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:
April 23 — Prospect Avenue — Hood River male arrested for assault IV felony domestic and interfering with making a 911 report.
April 25 — N. First Street — Female arrested for attempted assault IV, criminal mischief II and disorderly conduct II and lodged at NORCOR.
April 28 — Westcliff Drive — A Portland resident was arrested for domestic assault IV.
Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):
April 19 — 10th Street at Union Street — A Pine Grove resident was cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
April 21 — 12th Street, 1700 block — Hood River male arrested for possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a fire arm and lodged at NORCOR.
April 22 — I-84 at milepost 64 — A Portland resident was arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
April 24 — 12th Street, 800 block — Officer responded to the hospital on a report of a female possibly being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:
April 21 — Serpentine Drive, 300 block — Officer took report of a window broken by a thrown rock.
April 26 — Ninth Court, 1600 block — Officer made contact with a resident regarding criminal mischief done to his vehicle.
Driving under the influence of intoxicants:
April 22 — A Mt. Hood resident was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
April 24 — Cascade Avenue, 3400 block — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and misdemeanor driving while suspended.
April 27 — Third Street at State Street — A Parkdale resident was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
April 27 — Belmont Avenue, 1200 block — A Wenatchee, Wash., resident was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
April 28 — Tucker Road at Brookside Drive — A Hood River female was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:
April 23 — Trout Creek Ridge Road, 5800 block — A resident reported being the victim of an internet initiated, fraudulent use of his bank card.
n Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:
April 19 — Sherman Avenue, 400 block — Vehicle struck by an unknown vehicle while parked.
April 19 — Sherman Avenue, 400 block — Officer’s patrol vehicle sustained a small ding in the driver’s door.
April 24 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Officer took report of a cold hit and run incident that had occurred in a parking lot a few days prior.
April 25 — I-84 at milepost 65 — Officer responded to a non-injury, blocking motor vehicle crash.
April 26 — Frankton Road at Post Canyon Drive — A Hood River male was cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failing to obey a traffic control device.
April 27 — Cascade Avenue at Fourth Street — Officer responded to a vehicle crash.
April 28 — Ninth Street at Oak Street — A White Salmon resident was arrested for driving while suspended, misdemeanor.
Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:
April 17 — May Street, 1600 block — Juvenile male arrested for probation violation and disorderly conduct.
April 18 — May Street, 1600 block — Juvenile arrested for probation violation.
April 18 — Hope Avenue, 1500 block — Male arrested on a valid probation violation out of Hood River Community Corrections.
April 27 — Old Columbia River Drive at Highway 35 — A White Salmon, Wash., resident was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Umatilla county and lodged at NORCOR. A passenger was cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
Theft, burglary or robbery:
April 19 — Columbia Street, 600 block — Officer took report of an unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and the theft of vehicle equipment.
April 20 — 12th Street, 1400 block — Suspect in a black SUV pulled up on the night clerk at a local business and demanded the cash bag. The clerk handed the suspect money, and the suspect fled westbound on Belmont. All patrol units were close and were unable to locate the suspect.
April 21 — Ninth Street, 1600 block — Officer took report of a stolen bicycle.
April 23 — Columbia Street, 900 block — Officer took report of the theft of a hammock off a resident’s porch.
April 23 — 12th Street, 1700 block — Officer responded to a report of a shoplifter in custody. Male was cited and released for theft III.
April 23 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Officer responded to a business on a report of an employee in custody for theft. A male had falsified paperwork to get reimbursed for more money than he was supposed to receive, and was cited and released for theft III.
April 24 — Eighth Street, 1800 block — Officer contacted a female regarding two stolen bicycles.
April 26 — May Street, 1600 block — Juvenile male from Parkdale was arrested on two charges of theft in the second degree and lodged at the NORCOR Juvenile Detention Center.
April 28 — A Street, 1700 block — Officer took report of a wedding ring set being stolen from a residence.
April 19 — June Street, 2300 block — Officer received a report that a child had written about a three-year-old being locked in his room while the child was staying overnight at a friend’s house.
April 20 — 13th Street — Officer responded to a residence on a report that a juvenile male was making threats to his mother. He had a conditional release not to assault his mother.
April 21 — Third Street, 1600 block — Multiple juveniles were cited and released for minor in possession of alcohol.
April 24 — Second Street, 200 block — A Hood River resident brought a handgun to the Police Department, which had belonged to his 97-year-old mother. The firearm was determined to have been stolen in Ventura, Calif., in 1989.
April 26 — Event Site — Officer made contact with a male regarding an altercation with a kite boarder.
