Sheriff Log for Oct. 30

All calls were responded to within the County of Hood River Oct. 21-26.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

Oct. 23 — Barrett Drive — Telephonic harassment reported.

Oct. 24 — Highway 35 — Juvenile female arrested for domestic assault IV and lodged at NORCOR.

Oct. 25 — AGA Road — Male arrested for assault IV, felony domestic after physically assaulting his partner in the presence of the couple’s child.

Oct. 26 — Fir Mountain Road — Male arrested for assault IV, domestic felony, and lodged at NORCOR.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

Oct. 21 — Canyon Road — Male arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Wasco County. During a consent search of the vehicle, a methamphetamine pipe was found. He was lodged at NORCOR.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, trespass and vandalism:

Oct. 23 — Odell Highway, 3300 block — Vandalism of fence and vehicle reported.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

Oct. 25 — Eastside Road, 500 block — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving following a motor vehicle crash investigation. An evidentiary blood draw warrant was applied for and obtained, and he was lodged at NORCOR.

Oct. 26 — Tucker Road, 2300 block — BAC registered under .08 percent.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Oct. 22 — Tucker Road at Pheasant Drive — Deputy responded to a three-car motor vehicle crash. Two of the three cars were rear-ended and ultimately towed. The driver at fault was cited for reckless driving and uninsured driving. All three drivers were admitted to the hospital, cleared and released.

Oct. 26 — Dee Highway at Summit Drive — Vehicle stopped; the driver was violation suspended and driving without insurance. The vehicle was towed.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

Oct. 22 — Montello Avenue at 13th Street — Male arrested on a warrant out of The Dalles.

Oct. 24 — N.E. Forest Lane, 800 block, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for a probation violation detainer.

Theft or burglary:

Oct. 21 — Brookside Drive, 3600 block — Illegal dumping and the theft of a game camera reported at a local golf course.

Oct. 23 — Dee Highway 3000 block — Female reported a theft via the telephone. The suspect purported to be her grandson and money was sent to Mexico.

Oct. 24 — Indian Creek Road, 1200 block — Unlawful entry into a motor vehicle reported.


Oct. 25 — N.E. Lewis Street, 0-100 block, Cascade Locks — Deputy took information to assist another agency.
