Sheriff Log for Sept. 11

All calls were responded to within the County of Hood River Sept. 1-9.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

Sept. 1 — AGA Road — Male arrested for three counts of menacing, attempted criminal trespass I, criminal trespass II, criminal mischief III and tapering with physical evidence. He was lodged at NORCOR.

Sept. 6 — Lingren Road — Male arrested for assault IV and disorderly conduct II and lodged at NORCOR.

Sept. 8 — S.W. WaNaPa Street, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for assault IV.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, trespass and vandalism:

Sept. 4 — Woodworth Drive, 4600 block — Criminal mischief II was reported.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

Sept. 3 — I-84 at milepost 53 — Female arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants following a traffic stop for a speeding violation. BAC registered .20 percent. She was lodged at NORCOR.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Sept. 2 — Billings Road, 5800 block — Male arrested for driving while revoked/felony and possession of methamphetamine. He was cited for careless driving and driving without insurance.

Sept. 6 — Forest Lane at Benbea, Cascade Locks — Vehicle towed for having no insurance.

Sept. 7 — Maple Road, 3200 block — A two-car accident occurred when one driver was backing out of a driveway and failed to see a car that had stopped in the area. Minor damage was reported to both vehicles with no injuries.

Sept. 8 — Highway 281 — Male arrested for driving while suspended/misdemeanor following a traffic stop. He was lodged at NORCOR.

Sept. 8 — Tucker Park — Vehicle towed after driver was found to be driving while suspended.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

Sept. 1 — Clear Creek Road, 7600 block — Male arrested for a probation violation detainer. BAC registered .11 percent. He was lodged at NORCOR.

Sept. 1 — I-84 at milepost 62 — Female arrested for outstanding warrants out of Wasco County and lodged at NORCOR.

Sept. 1 — State Street, 300 block — Male arrested on an active felony warrant from Hood River Circuit Court.

Sept. 5 — Chevron Drive, 3600 block — Male arrested for a felony probation warrant.

Sept. 8 — Odell Highway at Dethman Ridge Road — Male arrested on a probation violation detainer. BAC registered .12 percent. He was lodged at NORCOR.

Theft or burglary:

Sept. 1 — Tucker Road, 1400 block — Deputy took report of another burglary from a storage unit.

Sept. 5 — N.E. Forest Lane, 900 block, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for burglary I, five counts of menacing, three counts of harassment, assault IV, assault II, failure to report as a sex offender, felon in possession of a firearm, pointing a firearm at another, unlawful use of a weapon, and interference with making a report. He was lodged at NORCOR.

Sept. 6 — S.W. WaNaPa Street, 400 block, Cascade Locks — Deputy took report of a stolen vehicle. Inside was the signed affidavit, bill of sale and owner’s cellphone. The vehicle was recovered by Skamania County Sheriff’s Office Sept. 7.

Sept. 6 — Cooper Spur Road, 8900 block — Male reported the burglary of several computers and related equipment at a residence.

Other:

Sept. 4 — Redwood River, 3400 block — Deputy responded to a report of a male trapped under a tractor. Upon arrival, the male had been pronounced dead.

Sept. 4 — N.E. Benbea Court, 0-100 block, Cascade Locks — Female arrested on behalf of the Portland Police Bureau.

Sept. 5 — N.E. Forest Lane Street, 600 block — Deputy took information regarding stolen or lost property.

Sept. 5 — Indian Creek Road, 1200 block — Minor cited for possession of tobacco at a local school.

Sept. 7 — Farwig Road, 3100 block — Deputy took report of a runaway juvenile male.

Sept. 7 — Eagle Creek Trailhead — Deputies directed a search and rescue for a female who had injured her knee on the Eagle Creek trail while hiking.
