On the April 12 Second Saturday event, the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum will feature Chevrolets.
In addition to the regular flying and driving antiques, and other activities hosted during WAAAM’s Second Saturday events, the museum is trying to get a retrospective of Chevys so that visitors can see all of the changes that the Chevrolet car company has gone though over the years.
“We’re hoping to get a whole bunch of Chevys to come and help us show off history,” says Museum Director Judy Newman. “It doesn’t matter if you’ve got a 1913 Chevy, a 2014 Chevy, or something in between. Stop on by and show off your car.”
Last April the museum featured Studebakers. Nearly 40 managed to gather and participate in a Studebaker retrospective.
With 15 Chevys in the museum’s current inventory (1918 being the oldest), the turnout for the April 12 Chevy retrospective is already off to a great start.
