All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River March 30-April 6.
Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):
March 30 — Tucker Road at Windmaster — Male arrested on a warrant out of Wasco County and lodged at NORCOR, where he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and LSD. A search warrant was obtained for his vehicle and subsequently served.
March 30 — Highway 35 at milepost 92 — Two males were cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana following a traffic stop for violation of the basic rule. The driver also received citations for speed and no operator’s license.
April 1 — Jaymar — Female cited and released for unlawful possession of less than one ounce of marijuana following a contact near the railroad tracks.
April 6 — Dethman Ridge at Webster Road — Male arrested for unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of oxycodone, unlawful possession of hydrocodone and unlawful possession of less than one ounce of marijuana following a traffic stop.
Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:
April 3 — S.E. Frontage Road, 1200 block, Cascade Locks — Two males were arrested following a theft complaint.
April 4 — Indian Creek Road, 1200 block — Male arrested for criminal trespass II and lodged at NORCOR.
April 5 — Willow Road, 3200 block — Report of criminal mischief to a vehicle the prior evening taken.
Driving under the influence of intoxicants:
March 30 — Highway 35 at Eastside Road — Male arrested after a traffic stop for the following crimes and lodged at NORCOR: Driving under the influence of alcohol, misdemeanor revoked driving while suspended, failure to carry and present, and carry of a concealed weapon.
April 5 — I-84 at milepost 62 — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and attempting to elude.
Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:
April 6 — Tucker Road at Barker Road — Male arrested for giving false information to a police officer and criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree following a traffic stop.
Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:
April 2 — I-84 at milepost 47 — Vehicle towed for no insurance.
April 2 — Atkinson Road at Early Road — Vehicle stopped for a driving while suspended violation. The vehicle was ultimately towed as there was no licensed driver and it was blocking a driveway.
April 2 — Highway 282 — Vehicle towed as the driver and only occupant did not have a valid driver’s license.
Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:
March 30 — State Street, 300 block — Male arrested for a warrant and lodged at NORCOR.
March 31 — Kenwood Drive, 2000 block — Male arrested for a probation violation detainer.
April 3 — State Street, 300 block — Male arrested on a probation violation detainer issued by the Hood River County Parole and Probation Department.
April 3 — State Street, 300 block — Male arrested on a probation detention warrant and lodged at NORCOR.
April 6 — Riordan Hill Drive, 4400 block — Deputy responded to a call and contact was made with a subject who was leaving a residence. It was discovered later that a no-contact order was in place between the subject that was leaving and the resident inside.
Theft, burglary or robbery:
April 2 — Neal Creek Mill Road, 3100 block — Male contacted regarding a burglary II and theft II complaint.
April 2 — N.E. Forest Lane, 900 block, Cascade Locks — Theft of a lawnmower reported.
April 4 — Riverdale Road, 2000 block — Information regarding the theft of a ladder was taken.
April 5 — Kenwood Drive, 2200 block — Report of theft taken.
April 1 — Culbertson Drive, 4300 block — Deputy conducted an unattended death investigation.
April 1 — 1810 Road at 1811 Road — Deputy responded to a search and rescue involving a missing person. Once the person was located, she was cleared by medical and transported to Hood River.
April 2 — Indian Creek Road, 1200 block — Found bicycle reported.
April 2 — Binns Hill Road — Male shot and killed a bird dog by accident, thinking it was a bear.
April 4 — Wasco Street, 2700 block — A Hood River County Sheriff’s Deputy assisted a Hood River City Police Officer during an arrest.
April 4 — Orchard Road, 1600 block — Search and rescue initiated in an attempt to locate two missing girls, ages 7 and 8. With help from Air Support, the children were found more than one half mile from their house in the middle of an orchard.
April 5 — Moser Road, 1400 block — Dog bite reported.
April 6 — 12th Street, 1700 block — Deputy assisted Hood River City Police on an animal abuse case.
