Police Log for April 25

All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River April 14-20.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

April 15 — 13th Street — Male cited for domestic assault IV and arrested, and a female for felony domestic assault IV and disorderly conduct for a fight between the two.

April 18 — Hope Avenue — Male and juvenile male arrested for domestic assault III.

April 16 — I-84 at milepost 63 — Male arrested for harassment, disorderly conduct II and four felony warrants.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

April 14 — I-84 at milepost 64 — A Hillsboro, Ore., resident was arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine, theft II by receiving and a Washington County Circuit Court probation violation warrant, and lodged at NORCOR.

April 15 — Oak Street, 400 block — Report taken of male criminally trespassing at a local pub. He was located a few blocks away and resisted arrest. He was lodged at NORCOR.

April 17 — 18th Street, 0-100 block — Male issued criminal trespass citation after he was found sleeping in an attached garage.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

April 19 — Highway 30 at Highway 35 — Washington State male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and the vehicle towed.

April 20 — Second Street Overpass — A resident of The Dalles, Ore., was arrested on the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol and lodged at NORCOR.

April 20 — Cascade Avenue, 1500 block — A Portland, Ore., male was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and lodged at NORCOR. The involved vehicle was released to the registered owner.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

April 16 — Cascade Avenue, 3100 block — Female reported a fraudulent bank loan was opened in her name.

April 19 — Fourth Street, 100 block — Report of negotiation a bad check taken from local business.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

April 17 — Country Club Road at Cascade Avenue — The Hood River City Police Department assisted the Hood River County Sheriff’s Department with the location and apprehension of suspects in an elude during a traffic stop.

April 17 — Oak Street, 200 block — Officer responded to a motor vehicle crash. The driver of a delivery truck hit a parked car.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

April 15 — State Street, 300 block — Male arrested on an outstanding warrant and lodged at NORCOR.

April 18 — Pacific Avenue at 12th Street — Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation. One of the pass angers, a known male, had a parole violation and fled upon the stop. A search was conducted but he was not located.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

April 15 — 13th Street, 1400 block — Officer took report of cold burglary. The suspects gained entry by breaking into a window. A suspect was later arrested and lodged at NORCOR.

April 15 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Theft reported at a local business.

April 16 — Cascade Avenue, 2700 block — A business owner witnessed two subjects running across the parking lot of a local business with a vehicle bench seat. It was learned that the suspects stole a front bench seat from a pickup.

April 16 — 12th Street, 1700 block — Theft of mail reported.

April 18 — 12th Street, 1600 block — Male drove off without paying for fuel.

April 17 — E. Marina Drive, 1100 block — Stolen vehicle located.

April 18 — Cascade Avenue, 3100 block — Cellphone reported stolen.

April 18 — State Street, 800 block — Unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and criminal mischief III reported. The ignition was broken in an attempt to steal the vehicle.

April 19 — 12th Street, 1700 block — Report taken of possible theft of cash at a local business.

April 20 — Wasco Street, 2400 block — A The Dalles, Ore., resident was arrested on the charges of burglary I and theft II and lodged at NORCOR.

Other:

April 17 — Hope Avenue, 1600 block — WIC vouchers reported missing.

April 17 — Front Street at State Street — Male cited for furnishing alcohol to an intoxicated 19-year-old female.

April 19 — Highway 35 at Highway 30 — A Hood River resident was cited for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

April 19 — Cascade Avenue, 2000 block — Lost or stolen iPhone reported.
