Sheriff Log for April 30

All calls were responded to within the county of Hood River April 21-27: Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

April 21 — Belmont Drive — Juvenile female reported a female struck her multiple times at a party.

April 25 — Odell Highway — Deputy took report from a juvenile male regarding a possible assault by his mother.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

April 26 — Miller Road, 5500 block — Male arrested for a felony warrant and unlawful possession of heroin following a contact at his residence.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

April 21 — Orchard Road, 1600 block — Vandalism to a vehicle reported.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

April 26 — Mark O. Hatfield Trailhead — Male arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

April 27 — Kahoe Drive at Markham Road — Underage male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop conducted for failure to maintain lane. BAC registered .14-percent. He was lodged at NORCOR.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

None reported

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

April 21 — Highway 281 at Bassler Drive — Single-vehicle, non-injury crash reported.

April 24 — I-84 at exit 51 — Female driver cited for driving uninsured and warned for failure to maintain lane. The vehicle was towed.

April 28 — Tucker Bridge — Deputy responded to a single-car motor vehicle crash. The vehicle was blocking the roadway, still running with its headlights on. The vehicle was discovered unoccupied and was towed. The registered owner later called to report the vehicle stolen and signed a stolen vehicle report form.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

April 21 — Highway 281 at Bassler Drive — Male arrested for a probation violation following a crash investigation. He passively resisted arrest and was lodged at NORCOR.

April 21 — S.E. Sunset Avenue, 400 block, Cascade Locks — Female arrested on an active arrest warrant and lodged at NORCOR.

April 22 — Fir Mountain Road, 2900 block — Male arrested on a probation violation detainer.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

April 24 — Lost Lake Resort — Theft I reported.

April 24 — Herman Creek Campground — Theft from motor vehicle reported.

April 25 — Lava Bed Drive, 5600 block — Theft of tractor reported.

April 27 — S.W. WaNaPa Street, 600 block, Cascade Locks — Male reported aggravated theft of jewelry from his residence by a female acquaintance.

Sex offenses:

Other:

April 22 — Portland Drive, 3900 block — Deputy covered the unattended death of an elderly female.
