Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):
Aug. 15 — Ninth Court, 1600 block — Officer dispatched to an apartment on a report of marijuana being smoked there. A female was cited after admitting to smoking marijuana inside the apartment.
Aug. 16 — Second Street, 100 block — Officer recovered a small bag of cocaine.
Aug. 17 — Second Street, 100 block — Officers responded to a local bar on a report that two males were being detained for possible drug activity. Two males were arrested for possession of cocaine. One was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine and giving false information to a police officer.
Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:
Aug. 16 — Second Street, 100 block — Subject cited and released for trespass II.
Driving under the influence of intoxicants:
Aug. 14 — C Street, 1200 block — Officer contacted a male who was reported as being suspended and intoxicated while driving a van with California plates. Officer observed several signs of impairment and the driver consented to field sobriety tests, which he failed. The driver was arrested and consented to a breath test, which he also failed. He was lodged at NORCOR.
Aug. 16 — Hood River — Vehicle stopped for minor traffic offense. After contacting the driver, the officer observed several signs of impairment. The driver consented to field sobriety tests and failed. The driver was given the opportunity to take a breath test, but refused. A search warrant was approved and blood was taken as evidence. The driver was lodged at NORCOR. Location unavailable.
Aug. 16 — Hood River — A Tennessee resident was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Aug. 17 — Hood River — An Oregon male was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants and lodged at NORCOR. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Location unavailable.
Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:
Aug. 12 — Tucker Road, 2300 block — Female contacted in regards to a stolen purse.
Aug. 13 — Second Street, 200 block — Hit and run reported.
Aug. 15 — Hood River — Vehicle towed due to operator having a suspended driving status. The vehicle was also uninsured. Location unavailable.
Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:
Aug. 17 — Hood River — Officers contacted a female regarding her ex-boyfriend contacting her when she had a restraining order against him. The suspect had a conditional release agreement no contact order from NORCOR.
Aug. 17 — Hood River — A Hood River resident was arrested for an outstanding warrant and driving under the influence of intoxicants (controlled substances). Location unavailable.
Theft, burglary or robbery:
Aug. 12 — May Street, 1600 block — Female contacted regarding her daughter’s stolen cell phone.
Aug. 13 — 12th Street, 1700 block — Officer responded to a local business on a report of a shop lifter. A female was arrested for theft III and giving false information to a police officer.
Aug. 16 — Hood River — Male contacted regarding the theft of kiteboarding gear. Location unavailable.
Aug. 12 — Cascade Avenue, 400 block — Guitar found in front of the post office turned in to police.

Aug. 16 — Hood River — A Hood River resident had his concealed handgun license seized.
