Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum’s celebration opening its newest expansion Feb. 8 was well attended despite the inclement weather.
The Hood River Chamber of Commerce, many WAAAM members and volunteers and even a few out-of-towners enjoyed the celebration.
The ribbon was cut by two WAAAM volunteers, Andy Anderson and Gene Wright, who represented the volunteer team dedicated to keeping the automobiles in functional condition.
The new expansion was built by museum founder Terry Brandt to help better showcase the many automobiles at the museum.
Brandt originally started the museum to educate people about early aviation and the golden age of transportation.
