All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River Jan. 13-20.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

Jan. 18 — S.W. Cascade Avenue, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for disorderly conduct II and harassment and lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 18 — Odell Highway — An Odell resident was cited and released for harassment.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

Jan. 17 — Layson Road, 3000 block — Juvenile male cited and released for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

Jan. 15 — S.W. WaNaPa Street, 200 block, Cascade Locks — Male cited and released for criminal mischief II.

Jan. 19 — Brookside Drive, 3300 block — Male arrested for criminal trespass I and lodged at NORCOR.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

None reported

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

None reported

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Jan. 16 — Davis Drive at Mid Valley Elementary — Female stopped after deputy recognized her as someone who did not have a valid driver’s license. She was cited for no operator’s license and the vehicle was towed.

Jan. 16 — WaNaPa Street at Wasco Street, Cascade Locks — Deputy involved in a vehicle pursuit that entered into Washington state. The pursuit ended at a residence in the North Bonneville area, at which point the male suspect produced a large handgun and a brief standoff ensued. The suspect was ultimately arrested and lodged at NORCOR for reckless driving, vehicle attempt to elude, driving under the influence of intoxicants and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Jan. 18 — Frontage Road, Cascade Locks — Vehicle towed; driver cited for driving uninsured.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

Jan. 13 — State Street, 300 block — Male arrested on two warrants.

Jan. 14 — Chamberlain Road, 4200 block — Male arrested for a restraining order violation.

Jan. 16 — Bartlett Drive, 4000 block — Juvenile male arrested for probation violation and was cited for minor in possession of alcohol.

Jan. 16 — Tucker Road, 1600 block — Criminal mischief II reported. A suspect was identified and later observed at a residence that he is currently restricted from being per his probation terms. He was located and lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 16 — S.W. WaNaPa Street, 400 block, Cascade Locks — Female arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant issued by Skamania County and lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 20 — Thomsen Road — Deputy responded to a reported restraining order violation and possible assault.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

Jan. 13 — Tucker Road, 1600 block — Car prowl reported.

Jan. 13 — Herman Creek Trailhead — Theft from a motor vehicle reported.

Jan. 17 — Lippman Road — Burglary, probation violation and assault reported.

Jan. 18 — I-84 at milepost 47 — Deputies recovered a stolen vehicle.

Sex offenses:

None reported


Jan. 15 — I-84 at milepost 47-51 — A citizen turned in a found wallet to deputies.

Jan. 14 — State Street, 300 block — DEA agents returned a stolen handgun to the Hood River Sheriff’s Office, which was stolen in 1990. The handgun has been entered into evidence.

Jan. 15 — Gilhouley Road at Highway 35 — Deputy received a call for illegal dumping. The dump area was searched and suspect identified.

Jan. 16 — N.E. Forest Lane at N.E. Cramblett Way, Cascade Locks — Deputies responded for a possible suicidal subject. The subject was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Jan. 20 — Hess Road, 6700 block — Deputy responded to an unattended death.
