Middle school track and field volunteers, coaches needed
Spring sports aren’t far off, and Hood River’s newly named middle school head coach, Shawnie Emmons, is already busy organizing and assembling resources. To ensure a positive experience for young athletes, coaches and volunteers are needed at both Hood River and Wy’east middle schools. The season officially starts March 31 for HRMS and April 1 for Wy’east, with the popular annual HRV Learn-by-Doing Clinic planned for March 8 and a few preseason workouts planned for before spring break.
Anyone willing to volunteer is asked to contact Emmons as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org.
