All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River Feb. 20-26.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

Jan. 25 — Fir Mountain Loop — Deputy responded to a domestic felony assault IV and interfering with making a report.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

Jan. 21 — Tucker Road, 1600 block — Male arrested for possession of heroin and a parole and probation detainer. The incident occurred after he was released from Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital’s ER after almost overdosing.

Jan. 26 — Post Canyon Road — Male arrested for a probation violation, possession of methamphetamine, and felon in possession of a firearm and lodged at NORCOR.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

None reported

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

Jan. 26 — Highway 35 at Toll Bridge Road — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop conducted for failure to maintain lane. BAC registered .13 percent. He was cited for open container of alcohol and released to his wife.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

None reported

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Jan. 23 — Tucker Road at Osprey Drive — Deputy conducted a traffic stop for expired registration tags. The driver cited for violation driving while suspended and driving uninsured. The vehicle was towed.

Jan. 26 — Alameda Road at Belmont Drive — Deputy responded to a single-vehicle crash. The occupants of the vehicle had left prior to arrival. Property damage did occur to an orchard tree. The vehicle was towed.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

Jan. 21 — Highway 35 at Alpine Drive — Male arrested on a warrant out of Columbia County following a traffic stop.

Jan. 22 — Pheasant Drive, 3800 block — Deputy took a report of a restraining order violation.

Jan. 23 — State Street, 300 block — Female arrested on a probation violation.

Jan. 25 — S.E. Hammond Avenue, Cascade Locks — Deputy responded to a call of a cold assault. The suspect was indentified and in violation of a no-contact order.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

Jan. 21 — Lakeside Drive, 0-100 block — Female contacted regarding an unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and theft III complaint.

Jan. 21 — Dee Highway, 3100 block — Male contacted regarding a theft II complaint.

Jan. 22 — N.W. Lakeside Drive, 0-100 block — Female contacted regarding an unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and theft I complaint.

Jan. 26 — Old Columbia River Drive, 2600 block — Female stole a purse belonging to an employee of a restaurant.

Sex offenses:

None reported

Other:

Jan. 20 — Wind Mountain — Deputy responded to an Emergency Locator Transmitter activation. After searching the area, the person was located; they had activated the unit to test it earlier the day before and everything else was fine.

Jan. 20 — Hess Road, 6700 block — Deputy covered an unattended death.

Jan. 25 — Mt. Hood Meadows — Mt. Hood Meadows Professional Ski Patrol requested an Oregon Emergency Response System number for an out of bounds search. The subject was located.
