All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

July 19 — Highway 281 — Male arrested for domestic assault IV, interfering with making a report, violating a no contact order and a probation violation detainer. He was lodged at NORCOR.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

July 14 — Hood River — Male arrested for unlawful delivery of marijuana after a traffic stop and lodged at NORCOR. Location unavailable.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

July 16 — Leasure Drive, 4300 block — Criminal mischief reported.

July 16 — N.W. Hassalo Street, 100 block, Cascade Locks — Criminal trespass and criminal mischief reported.

July 18 — Bartlett Drive, 4100 block — Criminal trespass I reported.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

July 13 — Tucker Road near Barker Road — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop and lodged at NORCOR.

July 18 — Hood River — Male arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Location unavailable.

July 18 — Miller Road, 6300 block — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol following a report of a vehicle stuck in a ditch. The driver was located and later provided a breath sample. BAC registered .19 percent. He was cited and released to his family.

July 19 — Portland Drive near Carter Road — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop. He was also cited for minor in possession of alcohol and failure to maintain lane.

July 19 — Location unavailable — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop conducted for unsafe passing and following too close. BAC registered .19 percent. He was lodged at NORCOR.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

July 16 — AGA Road, 3300 block — Identity theft reported.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

July 14 — Davis Drive and Lingren Road — Two vehicle crash with injuries reported. A female was cited for careless driving.

July 15 — Davis Drive at Layson Road — Male cited and released for failure to perform the duties of a driver after he struck several mailboxes with his vehicle.

July 15 — WaNaPa Street, 300 block, Cascade Locks — Hit and run reported.

July 17 — Hood River — Vehicle towed following a traffic stop. Driver was cited for violation driving while suspended, no insurance and expired plates on the vehicle. Location unavailable.

July 18 — Highway 281 near milepost 12 — Deputy covered a single vehicle, non-injury rollover crash. Male driver cited for no operator’s license, driving uninsured and careless driving. The vehicle was towed.

July 19 — Highway 281 near Tucker Park — Vehicle stopped for failure to maintain lane. The driver was cited for no operator’s license. The vehicle was towed.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

July 13 — Forden Drive, 900 block — Between July 13-14, unknown suspects entered a vehicle and took the vehicle ignition key.

July 14 — Forden Drive, 800 block — Unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and theft of items reported.

July 14 — Neal Creek Road, 5500 block — Male reported his phone was either lost or stolen sometime between June 1 and July 14.

July 15 — Summitview Drive, 4000 block — Theft reported.

July 17 — Billings Road, 6000 block — Lost or missing leather motorcycle jacket reported from a residence. The missing jacket was found lying on the ground a mile from the residence July 18 and was returned to the owner.


July 14 — Tucker Road, 900 block — Juvenile reported as a runaway.

July 17 — Paul Partlow Road, 3800 block — County units responded to a report of a stabbing. Upon arriving, medical aid was given until EMS arrived. Patient was Life Flighted to Portland from the scene. The suspect voluntarily came in for questioning. Following the interview, the suspect was arrested for attempted murder and assault I. He was lodged at NORCOR. A search warrant was requested for the scene and the property was searched in the early morning hours the following day. During the search for ammunition, illegal weapons, explosives and drugs were found on the property.
