HRV lacrosse season ends

Hood River Valley High School varsity boys lacrosse ended its spring season Saturday with a 17-7 loss at Canby High School. The loss — in the semifinals of the post-season Cascade Cup – ends the Eagles’ .500 season with a record of eight wins and eight losses.

Roller Girls’ last home bout

The Gorge Roller Girls host their season finale Saturday, June 14, at Hood River Valley High School. The local derby team will take on the Atomic City Roller Girls out of Tri-Cities. Doors open at 5 p.m., action starts at 6 p.m.

Dirty Harlots host bike team fundraiser

Hood River’s Dirty Harlots mountain bike team is hosting a car/bike wash fundraiser from 2-6 p.m. on June 21 in the Dirty Fingers Bike Shop (corner of State and 13th streets). The funds are to raise money for the team’s mechanic, who will be traveling with the team as it competes in Oregon Enduro Series races.

CSRT hosts Mountain Bike Club camps

Enrollment is open for the Cooper Spur Race Team’s Summer Youth Mountain Bike Club day camps. Camps run three days each, every other week during the months of July and August, with riding consisting of one hour of technical coaching followed by 90 minutes of riding.
