Norton and Cox are wed

Taylor Norton, of Hood River, and Clay Cox, of Macon, Mo., were married March 1 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Napua Kellogg officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Cheryl Norton and Joey Sheirbon, of Hood River, and Rob and Tracy Norton, also of Hood River. She is a 2012 graduate of Hood River Valley High School and is currently a student at Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu, also working in Admissions.

The groom is the son of Mike and Diana Stonecipher, of Macon, and Donald and Linda Cox, also of Macon. He is a 2011 graduate of Macon R1 High School. After high school he joined the Navy and is currently employed as machinist mate for the USS Hawaii naval sub in Honolulu.

Aaron Washington served as best man at the beautiful afternoon wedding, held on Magic Island Beach Park. The color theme was hot pink, light pink and white.

The couple plans a honeymoon in Kauai, Hawaii, this summer. They have made their home in Honolulu.
