March 6 — Portland Drive, 1900 block — Deputy took complaint from a female regarding an attempted scam involving her 81-year-old mother.
Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:
March 3 — E. Marina Drive, 900 block — Vehicle stopped for expired registration. During the stop, the driver admitted to not having insurance and was cited. The vehicle was towed.
March 4 — I-84 at milepost 66 — Male arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, unlawful entry to a motor vehicle, and an outstanding Washington state felony warrant for escaping from community custody. He was lodged at NORCOR.
March 5 — Tucker Road, 1600 block — Male contacted regarding a hit-and-run accident.
March 8 — Belmont Drive, 4100 block — Deputy took report of property damage/failure to perform the duties of a driver, which occurred the prior evening.

March 4 — State Street, 300 block — Female arrested on a probation violation detainer.
March 5 — State Street, 300 block — Male arrested for probation violation.

March 6 — Indian Creek Road, 1200 block — Juvenile male arrested for a probation violation detainer and lodged at NORCOR.
March 7 — Odell Highway, 2600 block — Male arrested on a probation violation detainer and lodged at NORCOR.
March 9 — Ninth Court, 1600 block — Female arrested on a misdemeanor arrest warrant out of Hood River Circuit Court and lodged at NORCOR.
Theft, burglary or robbery:
March 3 — Wy’east Road, 3000 block — Male contacted regarding a theft II complaint.
March 3 — AGA Road, 3300 block — Three vehicles were broken into.
March 4 — Dee Highway, 4700 block — Male contacted regarding a burglary and theft complaint.
March 7 — Barrett Drive, 3800 block — Deputy followed up on a Hood River Police Department case involving a stolen cellphone.
March 7 — Woodworth Drive, 4600 block — Male arrested for burglary I, criminal mischief II, and theft of services (class C felony). He was lodged at NORCOR.
March 8 — Van Horn Drive, 2900 block — Theft of a fork lift fuel tank reported.
March 8 — Highway 35, 6600 block — Male arrested for burglary I, possession of methamphetamine, attempted unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct and menacing. He was lodged at NORCOR.
March 6 — Markham Road, 1600 block — Juvenile male reported as a runaway after failing to show up for school.
March 9 — Wy’east Road at Odell Highway — Male cited and released for giving false information about liability insurance, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, and two traffic violations. The vehicle was towed.
