Six Rivers Resolution Center offers basic mediation training

Six Rivers Dispute Resolution Center announces that it is now an independent nonprofit organization, serving Oregon and southwest Washington.

With many new mediation programs, including Family Mediation, Foreclosure Mediation and Agricultural Mediation programs, Six Rivers is expanding the breadth of services it offers the community. Its next goal is to expand capacity, and bring conflict resolution skills to more people within the Columbia Gorge region.

Six Rivers is offering its 40-hour Basic Mediation Training over the course of six days, including April 10-12 and April 17-19. This training provides an in-depth understanding of the complexities of conflict and its resolution, including tangible ways to address relational, procedural and substantive needs of those involved in order to uncover often unknown and valuable solutions.

Whether one is focused on developing a professional mediation practice, in search of a meaningful volunteer opportunity, or utilizing conflict resolution skills in their everyday relationships, this training offers tools that are both applicable and effective.
