Skylight undergoes renovations

Skylight Theatre will close April 7-25 for theater and lobby renovations, but Andrew’s Pizza will remain open. Renovations started earlier this month in the lobby. The theater will reopen April 25 for the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival. Tickets will go on sale in April.

General Manager Chris Ellison said, “After doing this for 20-plus years we are changing the main host from Banff International Mountain Film Festival to Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival, same great and awesome films, same mix of culture, adventure and adrenalin thrills. VIMFF is a mirror showcase to Banff that works out better for us small towns and theaters where Banff is now going for the large cities and venues that exceed 500 seats per show."
