Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:
May 20 — Odell Highway — Male arrested for felony domestic violence assault IV and lodged at NORCOR.
May 23 — 12th Street —Assault reported.
May 24 — Street not listed — A Vancouver, Wash., female was arrested for menacing after brandishing a large kitchen knife in an aggressive manner in the presence of her boyfriend and her boyfriend’s minor daughter.
Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):
May 18 — Gilhouley Road, 3200 block — Male arrested for a felony warrant for robbery III out of the Oregon Youth Authority. He was also charged with felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of over one ounce of marijuana. He was lodged at NORCOR.
May 25 — Homestead Drive, 3600 block — Male arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine after an altercation with his family.
Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:
May 20 — N.W. WaNaPa Street, 400 block, Cascade Locks — Criminal mischief reported.
May 21 — Highway 35, 4400 block — Male reported intentional damage to one of his vehicle tires by an unknown suspect.
May 24 — N.E. Pleasant Drive, 0-100 block, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for criminal trespass I and driving under the influence of alcohol. He was later lodged at NORCOR.
Driving under the influence of intoxicants:
May 18 — 12th Street at Pacific Avenue — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop. A male passenger was arrested for a probation violation during the stop. Both were lodged at NORCOR.
May 23 — I-84 at milepost 40 — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol following a driving complaint. BAC registered .12 percent. He was lodged at NORCOR.
May 24 — Kingsley— Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He submitted to a breath test 90 minutes later and BAC registered over .20 percent. He was lodged at NORCOR. A sober member of his camping party took possession of his vehicle at his request.
Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:
May 25 — Highway 35 at milepost 99 — An unoccupied vehicle blocking a roadway was towed.
Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:
May 20 — Wy’east Road, 300 block — Male arrested for a warrant issued out of Klickitat County following a traffic stop. He was lodged at NORCOR.
May 22 — Belmont Drive at Frankton Road — Juvenile female arrested for a probation violation and lodged at NORCOR.
May 22 — Kenwood Drive, 2200 block — Male arrested for two out-of-state felony warrants.
May 24 — 12th Street at 800 block — Male arrested for a probation violation and lodged at NORCOR.
May 24 — Eliot Drive at Tucker Road — Male arrested for a probation violation.
May 25 — Portland Drive, 4000 block — Male arrested for four warrants out of Hood River County. He was also violating a court ordered no-contact order.
Theft, burglary or robbery:
May 18 — Hood River Court, 900 block — Possible burglary reported.
May19 — Old Dalles Road, 2200 block — Burglary reported. It is thought to have occurred somewhere around April 30.
May 22 — Kenwood Drive, 2200 block — Burglary and aggravated theft reported.
May 23 — Laurance Lake Campground — Theft from a camper reported.
May 20 — Bartlett Drive, 4000 block — Runaway juvenile male reported.
May 21 — 12th Street, 1700 block — Female reported missing property.
May 21 — The Hook — Deputies responded to a windsurfer in distress near Wells Island. He was picked up in good condition and transported to the Event Site.
May 22 — Eagle Creek Trailhead, Cascade Locks — Deputies responded to a call to assist multiple agencies in rescuing a woman who had fallen over an embankment and had been injured. She was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.
May 22 — Powerdale Dam near Highway 35 — Five under-age subjects were cited for minor in possession of alcohol.
May 24 — Wells Island — Deputy responded to a search and rescue on the Columbia River. Five kite boarders were reported in distress after losing wind. Two had made it to the island and one was still in the water. Another had made it to Washington and another was pulled in by a stand up paddle boarder. The one in the water was picked up first, and then the two on Wells Island. They were transported to the Event Site.
May 24 — S.W. WaNaPa Street, 400 block, Cascade Locks — Male placed into custody on a police mental hold.
May 26 — Kingsley Road — A subject in a commercial logging operation was caught cutting firewood. His county-issued wood cutting permit was seized along with his chain saw and he was issued a citation for unlawful cutting of special forest products.
