Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:
Oct. 5 — Highway 35 — Assault reported.
Oct. 9 — Odell Highway — Male cited and released for harassment.
Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):
Oct. 12 — E. Marina Drive — Deputy assisted the Hood River City Police with a traffic stop. A K9 search was conducted. Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia (scales, packaging and syringes), and a handgun were located inside the vehicle. Three subjects were arrested and lodged at NORCOR.
Driving under the influence of intoxicants:
Oct. 5 — Hood River —Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. BAC registered .09-percent. He was cited and released to a family friend. Location unavailable.
Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:
Oct. 6 — Highway 35 at Central Vale Road — Two car motor vehicle crash with injury reported.
Oct. 7 — Paul Partlow Drive, 3600 block — Deputy backed into a downed tree; there were no injuries. Damaged was estimated at $995.80.
Oct. 7 — Old Columbia River Drive — Hit and run reported.
Oct. 10 — Highway 35 near milepost 101 — Motor vehicle crash reported.
Oct. 11 — Highway 35 near milepost 99 — Non-injury motor vehicle accident reported.
Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:
Oct. 7 — State Street, 300 block — Male arrested for a probation violation and lodged at NORCOR.
Oct. 8 — S.E. Hammond Avenue, 100 block, Cascade Locks — Female arrested for a warrant.
Oct. 9 — Ninth Court, 1600 block — Female arrested for a probation violation and lodged at NORCOR.
Oct. 11 — Midway Road, 3100 block — Hood River resident arrested at the direction of his parole officer for violating his probation by consuming alcohol. He refused to submit a breath test and was lodged at NORCOR.
Oct. 12 — I-84 near exit 64 — Male arrested on an outstanding warrant and lodged at NORCOR.
Theft, burglary or robbery:
Oct. 6 — Hood River — Male reported the theft of political signs. Location unavailable.
Oct. 7 — Wasco Street, 2700 block — Deputy took report of a motor vehicle accident on Country Club Road. During the investigation, the owner of the vehicle reported he was carjacked. The victim was transported to the hospital via ambulance.
Oct. 7 — Tucker Road, 900 block — Two juvenile males taken into custody for theft, minor in possession of liquor and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.
Oct. 11 — Timberline Lodge — Deputy dispatched on a report of an injured hiker. Upon arrival, the deputy learned the injured hiker had self-rescued.
