Columbia Center for the Arts will have its Semi Annual Gallery Overstock/Seconds sale Sept. 27-28 in the studio of Art Center from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sale includes pieces submitted by the 17 participating Gallery artists at deeply discounted rates. There will be treasures galore, both 3D (ceramics, glass and multimedia by Dawn Elle, Merilee Cooper, Yvonne Pepin-Wakefield and Sally Gilchrist) and 2D (paintings, prints and photos by Beth Lyons, Tony Kiser, Karen Watson, Cathleen Rehfeld, Elizabeth See, Brian Chambers, Judy Harvey, Arlene Larison, Charlotte Van Zant King, Judi Baker, Carolyn Johnson Bell, Michelle Yamamoto and Bill Sturman).
While you’re here, please enjoy the Columbia Center for the Arts’ 10th annual Plein Air Art Exhibit throughout the gallery, with remarkable art painted in the great outdoors, including art painted in the Gorge as part of our annual competition.
Columbia Center for the Arts is a nonprofit arts organization that nurtures creative life in the Gorge, dedicated to bringing visual, performing, and literary arts events to our local community. Columbia Center for the Arts is located at 215 Cascade Street in downtown Hood River. The gallery is open year ‘round and summer hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday (through September 30).
