Gospel concert Aug. 16

Rob and Shirley Baggee, of Mosier, will give a free concert Sunday, Aug. 16, from 11:15-noon at the Parkdale Baptist Church, 6310 Dee Highway, Parkdale. The concert will be a part of the church’s service. All are welcome to attend.

Tony Furtado at CEBU Lounge

This week at CEBU Lounge: shows start at 9:30 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 14 - Tony Furtado Band Banjo/Slide Guitar Master and his band return to Hood River.

Saturday, Aug. 15 - Tony Smiley, The Noop Linja returns.

Spruce, Alonzo at Sawtooth

Stillman & Friends play Aug. 14

Mike Stillman and Friends will be playing Friday, Aug. 14, from 7-9 p.m. at the White Salmon Vineyards tasting room. The band features Mike Stillman, saxophone, John Bryan, guitar, Alan Taylor, trumpet, Bob Green, drums and harmonica, Michael Grodner, drums, Paula Runyan, mandolin and Ed Dietrich on bass. Hop Trip at White Buffalo

Music at Gorge White House

Willow Wine Cellars, from Underwood, Wash., will hold a guest wine pour at The Gorge White House Aug. 15-16. On Aug. 16, enjoy the music of Kay Floria and Randy Bell from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Live music Sundays at Mt. Hood Meadows

Jon Davidson of Portland performs his “engaging acoustic alt-pop with heart” on the Paradise Deck at Mt. Hood Meadows Aug. 16, part of the free live summer concert every Sunday in August from 1-3 p.m.

On Aug. 23, the series moves on with Les Vaughn and Ted Matzen, aka The Fenderbenders, in a rare performance featuring a wide variety of original love songs, country music, and Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley covers.
