Crews from regional fire agencies contained a Cascade Locks brushfire Thursday night on WaNaPa Street. The blaze prompted an evacuation from nearby homes and destroyed two small structures: a resident's shed and a small Port of Cascade Locks equipment building on Portage Road. Officials report the fire was nearly knocked down by 8:30 p.m. Photo by Sara Reed.
