All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

Aug. 19 — Belmont Avenue, 1800 block — Criminal trespass citation issued to a local transient after he returned to a property he had previously been trespassed from.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Aug. 20 — Brookside Drive, 1300 block — Officer responded to a motor vehicle accident.

Aug. 23 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Hit and run reported.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

Aug. 17 — Hood River — Washington male arrested on a Washington County warrant and lodged at NORCOR.

Aug. 18 — Hood River — Vancouver, Wash., male arrested on an out of county warrant and lodged at NORCOR.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

Aug. 17 — Hood River — Portland male arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, driving while criminally suspended and theft III. He was lodged at NORCOR. The involved vehicle was towed and stored at the City impound for safekeeping.

Aug. 18 — Adrienne Lane, 3000 block — Stolen bicycle reported.

Aug. 18 — Fourth Street, 200 block — Officer contacted regarding stolen bicycles.

Aug. 19 — 18th Street, 1100 block — Theft from garage reported.

Aug.19 — Cascade Avenue, 2500 block — Appleton, Wash., resident reported theft of Oregon Trail Card.

Aug. 20 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Theft by an employee reported. Male later issued a citation for theft III.

Aug. 20 — Cascade Avenue, 2200 block — Female cited for theft III.

Aug. 22 — Hood River — Juvenile male arrested for outstanding nationwide warrants and theft III. He was lodged at NORCOR.


Aug. 18 — Westcliff Drive, 4000 block — Business reported a person sleeping on premises without permission. The person was in possession of a bicycle he claimed to have found. The bicycle was secured pending owner identification.

Aug. 21 — Hood River — A Hood River Reserve Officer was treated for minor injuries.

Aug. 23 — Hood River — Portland resident cited for urinating in public.
