Entertainment Update for Jan. 24

‘Holy Broke’ at Trillium Feb. 6

Hood River native Kent Ueland has a new solo project called The Holy Broke, and he returns to the Trillium Cafe on Friday, Feb. 6, promoting a new album “Do It Yourself,” which will be released next month. Since Ueland’s band The Terrible Buttons went on hiatus, he made a trip to Minnesota to record with friends and local musicians to create songs that “take a turn down a decidedly dirt road, both literally and metaphorically.” Trillium Cafe, 207 Oak St., Hood River, 541-308-0800.
