‘Independence Eve’ at the Bingen Theater July 3

Radio Tierra and Columbia Center for the Arts are proud to present the live radio broadcast of Independence Eve at the Bingen Theater, 210 Main, Bingen, Wash., on July 3 from 7-9 p.m. Featuring the music of the “Columbiaires” of It’s a Wonderful Life fame, singer/songwriter Alonza Garbanzo, Mariachi Los Temerosos De Juan Antonio, Harmony of the Gorge, the poetry of William Stafford, Tongue Twisters with Kirby Neumann-Rea and more.

Come celebrate America and our rich cultural diversity with the best-remembered songs from throughout decades. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from D’lish D’livered. During the evening there will be a special collection of donations for the WGAP Food Bank, Nepal Relief, and Oregon Trail Transitional Living.

Tickets are $15 adults and $10 children under 12, and are available at Waucoma Bookstore and Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River, the White Salmon Baking Company in White Salmon, online at www.columbiaarts.org., and at the door. Doors open at 6 p.m. for food and drink. Live broadcast on KZAS-FM, 95.1, starts at 7 p.m.
