Sarah Arpag (back), of Hood River, and Shea Kasenga, of Underwood, recently competed in the 2015 NW Region Swimming Championships in Federal Way, Wash. Arpag, who competed in the 11-year-old-girls category, placed seventh in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 27.31 seconds, sixth in the 50-yard backstroke (31.24), 10th in the 200-yard individual medley (2:28.05), sixth in the 100-yard freestyle (59.69), ninth in the 200-yard (2:09.16), and 11th in the 100-yard individual medley (1:08.79). Kasenga, competing in the 10-year-old girls category placed 22nd in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:29.66) and 18th in the 50-yard breaststroke (40.35).
