Sheriff Log, May 11 to 17

All calls were responded to within the County of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

May 13 — Eastside Drive — Juvenile male arrested for domestic assault.

May 17 — Toll Bridge Park — Assault and criminal mischief reported. A male was later arrested and lodged at NORCOR by the Wasco County Sheriff’s Office.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

May 14 — Barrett Drive, 3800 block — Female contacted regarding a criminal mischief complaint.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

May 15 — Hood River — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. BAC registered .11 percent. He was additionally cited for failure to maintain lane and lodged at NORCOR.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

May 12 — Summit Drive, 3900 block — Identity theft reported.

May 13 — Highway 35, 2300 block — Deputy took report of counterfeit money being passed in the Pine Grove area.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

May 11 — Highway 35 near milepost 92 — Deputy took information regarding a vehicle hitting a deer.

May 14 — Clear Creek and Baseline — Deputy responded to a non-injury motor vehicle crash.

May 15 — Barrett Drive near Alameda Road — Deputy responded to a crash involving a single vehicle pulling a trailer that crashed into a power pole.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

May 16 — N.E. Forest Lane, 900 block, Cascade Locks — Deputies arrested a male for theft II and theft III.

May 15 — Straight Hill Road, 3500 block — Burglary reported.

May 15 — Central Vale Road, 3700 block — Burglary I, criminal mischief II and theft III reported.

May 16 — S.E. Hammond Avenue, 100 block, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for theft III and theft II.

Other:

May 11 — Tucker Road, 900 block — Signed runaway report involving a juvenile who has run away at least two times prior to this incident.

May 13 — Mud Alley — Deputy dispatched for a welfare check on a female. The female was found to be well.

May 17 — Second Street, 100 block — Male cited and released for carrying a concealed weapon following an assault investigation at a bar. He was cited into Hood River Circuit Court.
