Take Two at Double Mountain Nov. 5

Take Two — featuring Ted and Laura Cunard — will be playing their eclectic mix of familiar tunes at Double Mountain Brewery and Taproom, on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 8-10 p.m. You're liable to hear anything from jazz and big band standards to pop, classic rock, country, folk and R&B. Saunders at White Buffalo Nov. 5

Lesley Saunders (guitar/vocals) and Steve Alford (percussion) plus other guest performers will bring a harmonized mix of acoustic rock and ballads to the White Buffalo stage on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 6-8 p.m. Willow Wines of Underwood, Wash., will host this week's complimentary wine tasting. Authors visit Fiber Fest Nov. 6

On Friday, Nov. 6, from 5-7 p.m., Waucoma Bookstore is hosting a book signing at the Columbia Gorge Fiber Festival Marketplace (Fort Dalles Readiness Center - 402 East Scenic Drive in The Dalles) with the following knitting and weaving authors:

Antonyms at Moth Lounge Nov. 7

The Antonyms make an appearance on Saturday, Nov. 7, for another popular live show at the Moth Lounge. These guys are local favorites and belt out originals and select covers. No cover charge, show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Bonnie Raitt Tribute Nov. 14

Join Bre Gregg and her eight band members for an all-star evening of tribute to Bonnie Rait on Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River. Music starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $15 for this all-ages show. Gregg says of this musical performance, “Bonnie Raitt is one of my greatest musical influences. ‘Something to Talk About’ is a musical collaboration between some of Portland’s finest singers and players joining together to pay tribute to the queen of the bottleneck blues.” This performance has been generously sponsored by Scott Franke, Attorney at Law in Hood River.
