Being with Dying: Music and spiritual care at end-of-life

Join the Grave Matters Discussion Group for a conversation about contemplative care of the dying and music-thanatology at the Hood River Library on Monday, Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m.

Susan Shipman and Anna Fiasca hope to spark reflection about the ways in which we talk about, be with, and accept (or fail to accept) death as a part of our lives. They will offer different tools for finding a path to acceptance and peace, and will show how prescriptive music can provide a sacred space to do one’s own soul work.

Grave Matters is a monthly discussion series on death and dying offered by the Hood River Library.
