All calls were responded to within the County of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

Nov. 6 — Henderson Road — Assault reported.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

Nov. 2 — Country Club Road, 1700 block — Juvenile male cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. He was released to his mother.

Nov. 7 — Belmont Drive, 4400 block — Juvenile male cited and released for possession of marijuana as he was walking on Country Club Road.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

Nov. 7 — I-84 at milepost 53, Cascade Locks — A Portland resident was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, and assault III following a motor vehicle crash. He was lodged at NORCOR.

Nov. 7 — Tucker Road, 1600 block — Male arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance. He was additionally cited for failure to maintain lane.

Nov. 7 — Cascade Locks — Deputy investigated an abandoned boat east of the Wyeth Boat Ramp.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

Nov. 2 — Tucker Road, 2200 block — Citizen reported receiving a bill from Pay Pal, having never created a Pay Pal account nor visited Elizabethtown, N.J.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Nov. 1 — Hood River — Non-injury traffic crash reported.

Nov. 6 — Highway 35, 2300 block — Vehicle towed after the driver was cited for violation driving while suspended and driving without insurance.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

Nov. 4 — S.W. WaNaPa Street, 400 block, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for existing warrant issued by Lane County Circuit Court.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

Nov. 1 — Hood River — Car prowl reported.

Nov. 3 — S. Tamanawas Falls — Unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle reported.

Nov. 7 — Highway 35 at Tamanawas Falls trailhead — Car prowl reported. The victim had already left the area and was only able to provide a partial list of stolen property at that time.

Nov. 7 — N.E. Walnut Street, 200 block, Cascade Locks — Deputies took a report of extortion from a male in Cascade Locks.


Nov. 3 — Parkdale — Found iPhone turned into the sheriff’s office.

Nov. 2 — Tucker Road, 1200 block — Female contacted regarding her husband who had not returned home.

Nov. 4 — Belmont Avenue, 1400 block — Deputy took possession of a handgun for safekeeping.

Nov. 5 — Odell Highway, 3300 block — Deputy encountered a juvenile who had been called in as a runaway.

Nov. 7 — Aubert Drive, 4000 block — A dog was reported to have killed a chicken.
