Sheriff Log, Nov. 9 to 15

All calls were responded to within the County of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

Nov. 12 — S.E. Windsong Drive, Cascade Locks — Assault reported.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

Nov. 14 — Dee Highway 3700 block — Criminal mischief reported.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

Nov. 12 — Pheasant View Drive, 4300 block — Attempted identity theft reported.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Nov. 9 — Davis Drive, 3600 block — Deputy responded to a report of a commercial motor vehicle that had struck a telephone pole in the area of Davis Drive and AGA Road.

Nov. 10 — Lingren Road — Deputy was notified by a citizen that a semi-truck had lost the rear of his trailer. Deputy responded, closed the road and called OSP to handle the investigation.

Nov. 13 — Tucker Road, 1100 block — Single vehicle, non-injury crash reported.

Nov. 13 — Highway 281, Parkdale — Deputy responded to a three vehicle, non-injury crash. One driver was cited for failure to yield right of way.

Nov. 13 — Highway 282 at Ehrck Hill Road — Deputy investigated a two vehicle, non-injury crash. One of the drivers was cited for careless driving.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

Nov. 12 — Covey Drive, 6000 block — Female arrested on two outstanding warrants.

Nov. 12 — West Cascade Avenue near Wine Country Road — Male arrested on two outstanding warrants following a traffic stop. He was lodged at NORCOR.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

Nov. 10 — Thomsen Road, 3000 block — Male contacted regarding a theft II and burglary II complaint.

Nov. 13 — Dee Highway, 3700 block — Deputy responded to a car prowl and took a report for unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. A suspect was later identified and interviewed.

Nov. 15 — Cascade Locks — Unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and theft reported from Eagle Creek Trailhead.

Other:

Nov. 10 — Hood River — Citizen reported finding items in a forested area of Hood River County.

Nov. 12 — S.W. Tahoma Street, Cascade Locks — Elder abuse reported.

Nov. 12 — Parkdale — Sheriff’s office was advised of a lost hunter in the Pinnacle Ridge area. Search teams worked through the night and the subject was located in the late morning hours of Nov. 13. Subject was evaluated and found to be in good condition.

Nov. 14 — Tucker Road — Deputy took report of a possible child abuse as part of an ongoing domestic problem.
