Police Log, Nov. 17 to 21

All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

Nov. 20 — Hood River — Nineteen-year-old male cited for possession of marijuana by a minor.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

Nov. 21 — Oak Street, 800 block — Criminal mischief reported. A front porch was damaged.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

Nov. 21 — Hood River — A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle with no registration tags displayed. In pulling over, the driver struck the curb and drove onto the sidewalk. A driving under the influence (DUII) investigation resulted in the arrest of the male driver. The vehicle was towed.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

Nov. 20 — Oak Street, 1600 block — Resident reported theft of his vehicle from a parking lot.

Nov. 20 — Oak Street — A vehicle previously stolen from Cascade Locks earlier in the day was recovered, abandoned, in Hood River.


Nov. 17 — Fifth Street, 1000 block — Male arrested for attempted kidnapping.

Nov. 19 — Cascade Avenue, 2200 block — Found property reported.
