Sheriff Log, Oct. 4 to 18

All calls were responded to within the County of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

Oct. 4 — Cascade Avenue — Sheriff Department assisted the City Police department on an assault investigation.

Oct. 9 — Tucker Road — Threatening behavior reported.

Oct. 9 — Indian Creek — Deputy followed up on a report of possible threatening behavior.

Oct. 16 — Odell Highway — Deputies responded to a domestic violence call. A female was arrested for assault and lodged in NORCOR.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

Oct. 4 — Highway 35 — Male cited and released for minor in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana following a traffic stop.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

Oct. 10 — Hood River — Deputy dispatched to a call of three vehicles at the bottom of Kinglsey reservoir.

Oct. 13 — S.E. Sunset Avenue, 400 block, Cascade Locks — Criminal mischief reported.

Oct. 18 — Highway 35, 2300 block — Road rage reported.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

Oct. 10 — I-84 near Hood River — Female arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and unlawful possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop.

Oct. 15 — Hood River — Single vehicle crash reported. The driver was located and arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, and hit and run property.

Oct. 15 — Clear Creek Road, 8600 block— Dispatchers took two reports of a reckless driver in the Parkdale area. The reporting parties followed the vehicle until law enforcement arrived. After contacting the driver, she was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving. She refused the breath test and a blood warrant was signed. After the blood warrant was executed, she was transported to NORCOR.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

Oct. 5 — Park Place Loop, 700 block — Identity theft reported and turned over to a credit card company.

Oct. 5 — Highway 35, 2300 block — Deputy investigated the negotiation of a bad check and a theft complaint.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Oct. 5 — Hood river — Juvenile male cited and released for reckless endangering.

Oct. 7 — Highway 282 near Wy’east Road — Deputy investigated a motor vehicle accident with injury.

Oct. 7 — Davis Drive, 3600 block — Hit and run involving vehicle damage reported. One person was cited and released.

Oct. 7 — Hood River — Vehicle towed after driver was found to have no operator’s license.

Oct. 8 — Tucker Road near Benton Road — Deputy responded to a two car motor vehicle crash with injury.

Oct. 10 — Tucker Road at Barrett Drive — Deputy investigated a two car, non-injury motor vehicle crash.

Oct. 13 — Orchard Road, 1300 block — Deputy responded to a two car motor vehicle crash. One of the vehicles left the scene without making a report or sharing information.

Oct. 14 — Belmont Drive, 3500 block — Hit and run reported. The driver’s vehicle was located abandoned in an orchard and was towed.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

Oct. 9 — Indian Creek Road, 1200 block — Two juvenile males were arrested on detainers.

Oct. 9 — 12th Street — Female arrested for a probation violation and lodged at NORCOR.

Oct. 13 — A Street — Male arrested in violation of a restraining order and lodged at NORCOR.

Oct. 14 — Oak Street, 1500 block — Male arrested on an active probation detainer warrant and lodged at NORCOR.

Oct. 14 — Hood River — Male arrested on a warrant.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

Oct. 5 — Frankton Road, 800 block — Male contacted regarding a burglary and theft complaint.

Oct. 6 — Adams Loop, 800 block — Unknown person broke into a residence.

Oct. 12 — Riordian Hill Drive, 4500 block — Unlawful entry into a motor vehicle reported.

Oct. 17 — Wells Drive, 1600 block — Male contacted regarding a burglary and theft complaint.

Oct. 13 — Parkdale — Male contacted regarding an unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and theft II complaint.


Oct. 6 — The Dalles — Sheriff Department assisted Wasco County agencies during a search warrant.

Oct. 6 — Country Club Road, 800 block — Civil complaint reported.

Oct. 10 — Cascade Locks — Deputies located a missing person.

Oct. 11 — Leasure Drive, 4500 block — Deputy responded to an unattended death.
