Tuesdays at Springhouse Cellar

Tuesday night music at Springhouse Cellar continues. Music starts at 6 p.m. No cover charge; family-friendly event.

April 19 — Austin Quattlebuam (Crow and the Canyon) solo show from banjo-player/troubador with “wildly swampy blues and backwoods folk."

April 26 — Tony Smiley — HR native returns with one-man loop-ninja show.

May 3 — Three For Silver — Eclectic Portland folk band creates “thunderous bass, dreamy melody, baritone growl and smooth soprano — wholly unique music with a timeworn style.” Springhouse Cellar, 13 Railroad Ave, Hood River; 541-308-0700.

Tim Mayer at CG Hotel

Pianist Tim Mayer will be at the Columbia Gorge Hotel April 15-17 and April 23-24 from 6-9 p.m. He’s playing downstairs — expect his usual mix of jazz, blues, rock, pop and instrumentals. He’ll even try to accomodate requests. Columbia Gorge Hotel, 4000 Westcliff Dr., Hood River; 541-386-5566.

3 Speed at Stave & Stone

3 Speed Trio — Jazz, Friday, April 15, 7-10 p.m.

Kay Floria & Randy Bell — Blues and more, Wednesday, April 20, 6-8 p.m. Eclectic mix of blues, jazz, boogie woogie and soulful ballads. Kay’s vocal style allows her to cover artists as diverse as Ella Fitzgerald, Katie Webster and Bessie Smith.

Ryan Kolberg & Anderson Gould, Friday, April 22, 7-10 p.m. An evening of solid music and fancy fingerwork — you won’t want to miss a note!

Cider Fest music lineup

The April 16 Hood River Hard Pressed Cider Fest features main stage entertainment from four Gorge acts:

12-1:15 p.m. — The Wasco Bros.

1:45-3 p.m., — Anderson Gould Trio

3:30-4:45 p.m. — Tracy Klas Band

5:15-6:45 p.m. — The Junebug Boys

3315 Stadelman Drive, Odell. Tickets: $10 for full event pass, includes entry into Cider Fest, entry into 21-and-over Cider Garden, four (3.5-ounce) taste tokens, and commemorative glass; $5 entry only (does not include commemorative glass and tokens). Pets are not allowed.

Ron Rogers at Double Mountain

Ron Rogers and the Wailing Wind, Portland’s premier Texas-Roadhouse band, are returning to the Double Mountain Brewery and Taproom on Saturday, April 23, starting at 9 p.m. No cover charge. Double Mountain Brewery, 8 Fourth St., Hood River; 541-387-0042.

Chic Preston at The Pines
