Petruchio (Jasper Kreihbal) takes no argument from angry Kate (Olivia Newcomb) and insists they will marry on this, their first meeting, in William Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew,” Hood River Valley High School’s winter play. The show runs Feb. 26-27, March 4-5 and March 11-12 in the school’s Bowe Theater beginning at 7 p.m., with a Feb. 28 matinee at 2 p.m. The show is directed by Rachel Harry. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors, and are available at Waucoma Bookstore and at the door. See the Wednesday, Feb. 24 Kaleidoscope for more information.
