‘Grand Rapids’ history comes to CL March 5

Captain Tom Cramblett will give a historic presentation about the Sternwheeler-era Columbia Gorge on March 5 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Bridgeside Restaurant in Cascade Locks.

The event, “Lewis and Clark and the Great Rapids of the Columbia River,” includes dinner and a presentation on the history of the rapids, and Lewis and Clark’s exploration in the Cascade Locks area. It’s also a fundraiser for the Cascade Locks Historical Museum.

Tickets are $30 (limit of 50 people), with shepherd’s pie dinner included. To register, call 541-374-2404. The deadline to register is March 1.
