Sheriff Log, Jan. 3 to 10

All calls were responded to within the County of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

Jan. 4 — Bradley Drive — Deputies responded to a domestic violence call. One arrest was made.

Jan. 8 — Belmont Drive — Harassment reported.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Jan. 5 — Hood River — Male cited and released for failure to perform the duties of a driver (misdemeanor) following a motor vehicle crash.

Jan. 5 — Hood River — Deputy responded to a two vehicle, non-injury traffic crash.

Jan. 5 — Neal Creek Road, 3700 block — Vehicle vs. deer crash reported. The vehicle sustained substantial damage.

Jan. 6 — Cascade Locks — Deputies had an abandoned vehicle towed.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

Jan. 6 — Cascade Locks — Stolen bicycle reported.

Jan. 8 — Highway 35, 14000 block, Mount Hood — Theft reported that had occurred Dec. 31.

Jan. 9 — Starvation Creek Trailhead — Car prowl reported.

Sex offenses:

Jan. 4 — Hood River — Hood River resident arrested for contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor and lodged at NORCOR. He was also lodged for unlawful possession of a firearm and carrying concealed.


Jan. 3 — 12th Street, 800 block — Deputy assisted the Hood River Police Department with a disturbance call.

Jan. 9 — Highway 35, 14000 block, Mount Hood — Report of a skier out of bounds.
