“Much Ado About Nothing” preparations began with an unusual rehearsal arrangement: one of the leads, Paul Bowen (Benedick), who was traveling out of state, “phoning it in,” yet giving it his best, via Facetime. Cast member Dave Adams holds director Lynda Dallman’s cell phone as Bowen runs a scene at Stonehedge Garden with Lisa Roth as Beatrice, Benedick’s romantic partner, and foil. The Plays for Non-Profits production opens July 7. Tickets for dinner and the show are $40, $35 for students and seniors and groups of 10 or more. Tickets can be purchased at Waucoma Bookstore, Stonehedge Gardens Restaurant and online at www.showtix4u.com. Show dates are July 7, 8, 14 and 15 at 7 p.m. for dinner, followed by the show at 8:15 p.m. There will also be a matinee 5 p.m. dinner followed by a 6 p.m. show.
