Elvira Stepina and Jade Johnson enjoy music by the Antonyms.

The wind may not have been as cooperative as it could have been, but that didn’t stop people from coming out and enjoying the Columbia Gorge Windsurfing Association’s annual Beach Bash party that happened last weekend at the Hood River Waterfront. On Saturday, people took to the water to enjoy windsurfing and paddling, or hung out with some refreshments at the Event Site. Others took in some of the many bands the CGWA had in its lineup. Left, Elvira Stepina, 3, of Hood River (right) dances with Jade Johnson, 3, of Hood River. The two friends were enjoying the music of the Antonyms, who are Tim Decker, Rod Steward, Dustin Nilsen, and Doug Stepina.
