Sheriff Log, March 13 to 20

All calls were responded to within the County of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

March 18 — Baseline Drive, Parkdale — Deputy took information in regards to an assault.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

March 14 — Indian Creek Road, 1200 block — Deputy took a minor in possession of marijuana report, and two juveniles were cited and released.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

March 13 — Martin Road, 1400 block — Deputy responded to a disturbance.

March 14 — Tucker Road, 1700 block — Criminal mischief reported.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

March 18 — Highway 35 near Willow Flat — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was cited and released.

March 20 — Columbia Street, 500 block — Male arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants and lodged at NORCOR.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

March 14 — Eastside Road, 1900 block — Identity theft reported.

March 16 — N.E. Forest Lane, 900 block, Cascade Locks — Identity theft reported.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

March 15 — Hood River — Two vehicle, non-injury traffic crash investigated.

March 15 — Dee Highway, 7100 block, Parkdale — Vehicle towed for driving uninsured.

March 17 — Hood River — Male arrested for driving while suspended, using an invalid license and a probation violation. He was lodged at NORCOR.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

March 14 — Lacey Drive, 2400 block — Female arrested for a warrant.

March 16 — State Street, 300 block — Male taken into custody on an active warrant and probation violation, and lodged at NORCOR.

March 18 — Clear Creek Road, 8300 block, Parkdale — Male arrested for an outstanding warrant and lodged at NORCOR.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

March 18 — Barrett Drive, 4300 block — Theft reported.

March 20 — Eagle Creek, Cascade Locks — Car prowl reported.

Other:

March 13 — Tilly Jane campground — Hood River County Sheriff deputies brought an injured skier down from the Tilly Jane campground.

March 26 — N.E. Forest Lane, 700 block, Cascade Locks — Wallet found during a call for service.

March 17 — Hood River — Male cited for littering after he threw a beer can out of his moving vehicle. He was cited for offensive littering, no operator’s license and open container of alcohol.
