Police Log, April 24 to May 1

All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

April 25 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Hood River resident arrested for unlawful possession, distribution and manufacture of methamphetamine, unlawful possession and distribution of heroin, theft III and two counts of unlawful possession of a schedule IV, and was lodged at NORCOR. In the same incident, another Hood River resident was cited for theft III.

April 29 — Oak Street, 200 block — Transient cited for smoking marijuana in a public place.

May 1 — E. Marina Drive, 1000 block — Milwaukie resident arrested on the charges of possession of methamphetamine and lodged at NORCOR. In the same incident, another Milwaukie resident was arrested on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, failure to present license and a Multnomah County Probation Violation, and was also lodged at NORCR.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

April 29 — 12th Street, 1300 block — Hood River resident arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance. In the same incident, a Hood River juvenile was cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

April 30 — Hood River — Hood River resident arrested on the charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving, and lodged at NORCOR.

May 1 — Hood River — Hood River resident arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

April 26 — W. Cascade, 2700 block — Washington resident reported her vehicle was damaged while parked in a parking lot.

April 29 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Officer investigated a motor vehicle crash.

April 30 — Hood River — Male cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured. There was no licensed driver and the involved vehicle was towed.

April 30 — Hood River — Minor traffic crash reported in a parking lot.

April 30 — Hood River — Female cited for hit and run, driving while suspended, and driving uninsured.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

April 28 — Cascade Avenue, 3400 block — Portland resident arrested on two valid warrants out of Clackamas County Circuit Court.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

April 30 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Shoplifting reported.

Other:

April 25 — Ninth Street, 1500 block — Juvenile male cited for minor in possession of alcohol.

April 27 — Hood River — Resident put on a police officer’s mental hold.

April 29 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Officer discharged service weapon to put down an injured deer.

April 30 — Hood River — A 19-year-old was cited and released for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

May 1 — Montello Avenue, 1200 block — Officer completed a welfare check and found a male deceased in his apartment.
