Oct. 29 — National Honor Society Trick or Treat for FISH, 10-noon around the valley. National Honor Society members from HRVHS will go door to door “trick or treating” for nonperishable food and/or monetary donations for FISH Food Banks in Hood River and Cascade Locks.

Oct. 29 — Parkdale Pumpkin Parade, check in at 11 a.m., parade 11:30 a.m. at Red Barn Park (corner of Clear Creek Road and Baseline). Starts after the PTO fun run/walk.

Oct. 29 — White Salmon Valley K-8 PTO Monster Mash, 5-7:30 p.m. at Henkle Middle School. $3/person, includes 4 game tickets; under 5 are free. Carnival games, haunted hallway, costume contest, Beneventi’s Pizza and treats for sale. All welcome.

Oct. 30 — Intergenerational Pumpkin Carving, noon at Riverside UCC. All ages welcome; light lunch and pumpkins provided. Donations accepted to support Riverside’s outreach, justice and service work. More at 541-386-1412 or riversideucc.com.

Oct. 30 — Teen Halloween Party, 4:30-8 p.m. at the Hood River Library. Snacks, candy, games and spooky/silly movies and stories. More at 541-387-7073. For teens and tweens; free.

Oct. 30 — Pumpkin Carving and Hot Dog Supper, 5 p.m. at Hood River Valley Christian Church, 975 Indian Creek. Free; all ages welcome. Bring a pumpkin for carving. More at 541-386-2608.

Oct. 31 — Halloween Party and Haunted House, 4 p.m. at the Hood River Elks Lodge. Games, prizes, candy; indoor, kids of all ages welcome. Free.

Oct. 31 — Trick or Treating at Providence Down Manor and Brookside Manor, 4-6 p.m. More at 541-387-8290.

Oct. 31 — Free Halloween Books for Kids, 4-7 p.m. at the Hood River Library. Come show off your costume!

Oct. 31 — Trick or Treat at the Darling Boutique, 5-8 p.m., 114 Third St., outside, downtown Hood River.

Oct. 31 — Free Halloween Community Carnival, 5:30-8 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Stop by any time. Children’s game booths, prizes, candy, refreshments, foosball, air hockey, black light Nerf, mini golf, more.

Oct. 31 — Great Pumpkin Comes to Hawks Ridge, 6-7:30 p.m. Celebrate the 50th visit from the Great Pumpkin with Charlie Brown and Friends. All ages; party and online photo contest info on Facebook, Twitter (@HawksRidgeAssistedALF).
